The Tunisian internet and multimedia association (ATIM) is organizing the 6th edition of its international internet summer festival from August 25 throughout August 28, 2005 at the El Kantaoui marina in Sousse.

This year’s festival which is set alongside the oncoming Tunis WSIS, will focus on "broadband mobile Internet connections and security". The Festival, which is partly sponsored by the "Basma" charitable association for the promotion of employment among the disabled, will dedicate some of its training sessions to the use of new communication technologies by the disabled. Other workshops on free software, digital television, and WIMAX are also expected to take place.

The Festival will also feature a conference on the Tunis WSIS and a competition for the best digital photography, but also the election of "Miss Net" . The sponsors of the event include the Tunisian National Tourism Board, Tunisie telecom, the national agency for computer safety and Tunisia’s postal service.
